BIO.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Napa Valley, Erika has always doodled on any piece of paper she could find. She grew up dreaming of working at Pixar Animation Studios. By her sophomore year in high school, she knew she wanted to be a graphic designer. As a junior in high school, she took her first 35mm film photography class at Pacific Union College, and fell in love with the process! After that experience, Erika knew she would study graphic design and photography.

Erika is currently working towards a Digital Marketing degree at Louisiana State University. In 2020, Erika graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with an MBA with a concentration in Marketing. While in school, Erika works full-time with HALL Family Wines on the marketing team. She has continued to develop her design skills and learn about different processes and techniques. There have been a few “trials by fire” during her tenure. She has dived into email design, HTML, digital ad campaigns, social, and website editing. She is always willing to learn new skills that benefit all three brands under HALL Family Wines.

Erika started her graphic design career as a junior at Pacific Union College with St. Helena Olive Oil Co. and Napa Valley Bath Co. She was an integral part of creating the logo and label design of Napa Valley Bath Co. Most notably was her work on the Aromatherapy line. She was able to explore and design each one to embody their name.

Additionally, Erika worked at the San Francisco Disney Store for about two years. In 2016, with hard work and pixie dust, Erika earned the Disney Ambassador title. Erika has also worked as a babysitter for the Birdwell family since 2012. The Birdwell triplets and their big brother are very important to Erika and a source of inspiration. They are each so different and unique. She loves being creative and sharing life experiences with them. She lives in Napa Valley with her cats Oliver James and Bagheera Thor.
